One of my other passions is motorcycles, which started when I was 9 years old racing AMA motocross. I've road raced, desert raced and put in many miles of enduro across 3 states. In 2005 I switched to Adventure Touring, and its been a most excellent journey. I have friends that do it globally, but I just kinda hangout exploring the western US.
Anyway, this is a test to see if the local gallery works better than my embedded links from my website.

That's a lot of gear on that bike in the first image - good call out for what it takes to do touring on 2 wheels. The view in the second image shows why its worth it. There are places that need to be experienced without a roof over your head while you drive. How many miles are depicted in the mud/splattered bugs encrusting your ride in the last shot? Looks messy but I am guessing your are smiling about it :)

I've learned a lot since I started this sport, so my load is a bit lighter these days. The second image, was on my to Lake City just outside of Creed, and was taken with my 1st Gen GoPro. I started out doing videos, but have since moved on to still shots. I do end up tossing a lot, but once in a while there's a keeper. :) The last image, was after completing the Continental Divide Trail that runs from Mexico to Canada and is around 2800 miles and is mostly off road. So the total round trip is around 5K and provides an ear to ear grin all the way!

Nice set, looks like a BMW.
Good eye Ben. Since 2005 I've owned 15 different BMW motorcycles, the first image being my 2007 R1200GS and the last 2 were of my 2014 R1200GSWA.

King of the road! Nice gear Sonny.
Thanks Jeffery, after seeing your rig in Nambe. I can tell you have a thing for good gear! ;)

Mexico to Canada? Now that's a long ride, but I bet it was cool. All neat shots Sonny, but my favorite is #3.
