Aerochrome Got Grounded

Back at the Santa Fe National Cemetary from a month ago.

Normally the last thing one does with infrared is shoot directly into the sun. It tends to destroy an image quickly. But I liked the light so much, I thought let me try it anyway. So this is it. When I converted it I went for the Aerochrome look.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

It worked with just enough of the sun being blocked by the tree trunks to still have details in the rest of the image. Interesting result.

One of the more wonderful aspect of shooting digital - if your experiment doesn't work you can always just delete it and you don't have to shoot the whole roll of film and pay someone to develop it to find out.

Thanks Alan

But what is this Delete button you speak of? I have never deleted a single image I have taken since I switched to Digital 20 years ago. :)

IR and cemeteries go together well and this shows why. Love the reds!
Thanks Michael. It's not totally the look I was looking for, as I wanted to make it look more scary. I need to figure out what that is though.
