A Shifty Sunset Panorama at Reflection Lakes

My favorite lens for shooting panoramas at Reflection Lakes in Mt. Rainier National Park has always been my trusty EF 24mm TS-E. Its just the right focal length for the scenes at those lakes and being able to use the shift feature on the lens allows me to get 3 shot panoramas with almost zero vertical distortion since the film plane remains stationary through the sequence of captures in the frame. I have yanked this lens out every visit to this place over the past 15 years and it has consistently put a smile on my face. I'd love to see Canon put out a new RF mount version of this lens but I suspect the engineers are still debating whether to make it out of unaffordium or unobtainium

I find it easier to shoot the mountain reflection in the mornings. Less windy. Plus, there is a chance of some fog as well.

Thanks Murali - I have shot several sunrises there and this is actually the first time I have shot a sunset. Mornings can be absolutely magical with perfectly still waters and rising mists. I would have gone up there the morning I shot this but there was still moderately thick wildfire smoke that didn't clear up until mid morning.
