A Scene Along the North Fork

Another fall scene along the North Fork of the Smith River. This is along the lower portion of the North Fork not far from its confluence with the main fork of the Smith River. One of many stops I made along this road given the fall leaf displays on the big leaf maples.

Quite a range of green hues here along with fall colors.

Such light would be quite welcome about now. A little break in rains before it picks up later this afternoon.

Thanks Jameel - it took me a long time to drive up this road with the number of times I stopped to shoot more pictures. I did get some light earlier today up the Gorge but then it started raining up near Multnomah ad Wahkeena Falls. Oh well.

Thanks Jim - I stopped at every place where there was enough room for my truck which is much easier than when I was driving my RV. It took a long time to get to my destination like this
