A Scene Along a Trail

It definitely imparts a cool and fresh vibe, much needed in our current climate.

Thanks for setting the record straight about what you did or did not do. 😉

I love this image Alan. Those tiny mushrooms and the green moss against the dark background really tell a story.
Thanks Trent - this type of scene is amongst my favorites to find/shoot.

Thanks Michael - I am at a point where I can't wait for fall but we still have wildfire season creeping up first :(

Nice, Alan. Are those mushrooms edible?
Thanks Doug - these are members of the psilocybin family that grow wild in the coastal forests of Oregon.

Reminds me of the rain forest. I hear about the summer around here. I gets a bit tiring after a while. The new building codes now require A/C now. In the 80s and 90s we rarely needed A/C and rarely saw temps in the 90s.

Thanks Jameel - this was in the coastal forests just east of Florence.

It seems like A/C is almost a given in new construction anymore which is probably a Good Thing(TM). Residential A/C wasn't common in early 1950's Phoenix and most houses (including ours) only had swamp coolers. I don't have fond memories of summers in that era other than when we went somewhere else on vacations.
