A Quiet Morning

The best part about camping right next to the beach is that you can grab your gear and run out to shoot when you get some nice light. The downside is that everyone else in the campground wants to go out and walk along the beach leaving footprints so you have to grab your shots while you can. Here is a set of footprints headed my way but adding some nice scale to the scene.

Another quiet morning along the shore.

By the time that couple made it to where I was there were 3 more people with their dogs that came down to the beach and the whole scene was smothered with prints in minutes.

I can hear the surf, and that's very appealing.

I really like this one. The shore line leads right to the people, but their distance shows how quiet and peaceful your place on the beach is. The light on the stream in the foreground parallels the light in the sky subtly. You are getting me psyched for a trip over to the coast when I'm off my crutches.
