A Moment at Molas

This is from Molas Pass, it's not far from Silverton in Colorado. I had been in Silverton but had a feeling there might be a nice sunset so I headed up here so I could frame it up with the pond.

That is a truly outstanding scene, Jim. I've been in the general area several times, but never saw that opportunity. The fg and the light in the middle match the beauty of the mountains and sky. It's lovely throughout.

That's a great view from the pass. I believe I've got an autumn shot with the identical comp. Didn't have that great sunset sky though. Nice work!

Nice looking piece of countryside - and well captured here. The scene would be great all by itself but the sunset puts it over the top.

Thanks Bart! That area is just so photogenic, and there is such beauty around it. I was glad to get those clouds.
