A green water fall

"A Green Waterfall"

As I stood before the hidden waterfall nestled in the heart of Northern California, I found myself entranced by the natural spectacle unfolding before my eyes.

In a breathtaking departure from conventional waterfalls, this one burst forth directly from the cliff face, imbuing the scene with an air of magic and surrealism. The cool mist, a refreshing embrace from the tumbling waters, carried a sense of serenity and invigoration that permeated my being.

Enhancing this tableau was a vibrant carpet of lush green moss cloaking the surrounding rocks, making the entire scene a captivating blend of tranquility and raw natural beauty.

In this secluded oasis, I felt as though I had stumbled upon a secret vein of the Earth, a place where nature asserted its whimsical creativity. This left me utterly awe-struck and humbled by the unrivaled elegance of its design.

Enjoy.

Another one of my favorite spots. You've done a great job composing a detailed view. I've never been able to get a detail shot here that I liked.

Thanks Kyle, it took me 15 trips to figure out this shot. There is just enough space for one tripod, a very tight squeeze.

So cool Oliver! Love all that green, and it does somehow feel like a hidden oasis. This is one that I would like to get to someday. It's been on my list for so many years.

Jim, you should check it out soon. Even the waterfall is marked on the map, getting there is not easy, it's on Union Pacifica land, you gotta walk 1.5miles along the railway track, it's an ACTIVE track.

Stunning scene Oliver - and this image does it justice. I like your inclusion of the foreground trees.

Not a fan of lengthy trespass treks on active RR tracks unless there is a really wide shoulder.

Thanks Alan, it's a freight train, not many trains going; also, the road is very wide, as long as you don't wear headset, you should be OK.

That is a cool looking waterfall. A 1.5 miles of active track to walk on, hmmmm....

Jameel, it's not hard, the first time it took me almost two hours to get there, now it's 30 min.
