Oh man, I am so bad on flowers.... I sad to myself on this, Tulips are growing already?

Then I read it. Oh well. Bad ID on my part, a great photo on your part.

It's been seriously wet around my house for several days now but the sun came out a couple of times yesterday in between showers. I wandered out to grab some flower shots as the snow crocus blooms are proliferating and managed to catch this bee making its rounds.

C&C always welcome.
Lovely. If the wind and rain stop I will post the crocuses in our garden. Daffodils are out too. Ken

Thanks Jim - I am still waiting for blooms other than the early snow crocuses but I can see shoots with buds for daffodils and the other flavors of crocuses, and hyacinths all around now.

Thanks Ken - I understand the wind and rain bit quite well while cleaning up after several inches of wet and wind downed branches, seeds, and twigs. We are supposed to get a few days break from all that with some warmer temps and sunshine so we might catch up with you on the other crocuses and daffodils. I'd love to see yours.

Beautiful image. The bee is a nice addition to already beautiful flowers and oh, the raindrops help too.
Thanks Jameel - I took quite a few shots before the bee showed up but it became my desired subject one it did :) I'm ready for a few days without the raindrops right now.

I'm so jealous... I'll be waiting for maybe 4-6 weeks before I see insects again. The bee and flowers are beautiful Alan.
Thanks Trent - according to my wife there was originally only one place in the yard where she planted these and they have spread all over the place so I decided to keep an eye out for the bees that were making this possible. These crocuses will be done with their bloom pretty soon so the bees had to be awake and about.

Thanks Beth - this is the lens that lives on my camera these days. It's definitely the sharpest zoom lens I have ever owned.
