Whoa - that almost looks like a ghostly reflection instead of a smoke/haze layer. The bank of intense colors along the lower edge in the treetops literally jumps out at you and forces the valley bottoms into a backdrop. Very nice effect on this scene. This is delightful.

Both of the images you have posted from here are incredible. The light and fog really help to separate the layers in this one.
