    Turret Arch Morning

I spent one sunrise at Turret Arch, after deciding I didn't want to deal with the sketchy climb to shoot it through North Window. The sunrise was nice and the snow around the scene adds some texture. Any thoughts are welcome.

    Misty sunrises in Tuscany

Hello everyone, hope this find you all well! I will be going back again to Tuscany soon, so I thought I'd share a few image of those beautiful landscapes shrouded in mist, at sunrise, taken over the years: ...and one in B&W: Thank you for viewing & commenting, best regards Vieri

    Sneffel Sunrise

This is from Dallas Divide in Colorado last September. It's an area that during the last week of September and the first week of October is inundated with photographers, and well rightly so because it's such a beautiful fall color location. But it's always amazed me, that if you go any time...

    Sunrise Over LAKE STEVENS

After the incredible sunset Wednesday I kept the drone handy hoping for more. Pretty nice view from above my house this morning. View East - South (Gallery Image) South (Gallery Image) East

    Dusting

I posted a photo last week of the sunrise in Sedona and said to the right was moody and cloudy. This was the view when the clouds broke a bit. CC Welcome.

    Morning Kayaker

Yesterday I posted a color shot taken a bit later when the sunrise color was at it's best. Still gray at this point so a B&W conversion was in order. I think the lone kayak fisherman makes it.

    Sunrise Over LAKE STEVENS

Sunrise looked like it had potential this morning so I drove to the other side of the lake to fly my drone. Nothing spectacular, but a nice view down on a kayaker fishing (tiny dot upper right in the lake). The color only lasted about 10 min., just enough to capture this 4x4 pano before the...

    100"

On my way back from Sedona and the Grand Canyon I had to swing by Crested Butte as I heard they had 100" of snow in now week!!! One of my favorite places! CC Welcome.

    2022 First Light

I didn't know if I would see a good sunrise as it was still cloudy from the storm passing through. I originally was wanting to photograph off Airport Rd. at the over look but it was of course full. So I went to another location off 179. I just finally pulled over and started to photograph to the...

    Mendocino Coast Morning

The town of Elk on the Mendocino Coast has several nice viewpoints. I decided to try my luck at this point for sunrise yesterday. I would have liked to get closer to the edge, but it's fenced off. Still a nice scene. Any thoughts are welcome.

    Steens Mt. Drone Views

I was up on Steens Mt. back at the end of September for the first snow of the season. We still managed to drive almost to the top in our truck camper. I flew my Mavic 2 Pro down and out from the mountain to look back at the sunrise hitting the east face. I'm on the rim on the far right (not...

    Lake Stevens Sunrise

I haven't flown my drone around home much since returning from the SW a couple weeks ago. Sunrise yesterday looked promising so I drove over to the other side of the lake to take off. In my excitement I forgot to check the ISO, which I have only increased once from the base 100, but the last...

    Sunrise Over Lake Stevens

I was sitting at my computer yesterday morning when I looked out the window and saw the sky turning gold. Grabbed the drone and hustled to the back-yard to look around and this is what I found a few hundred feet up. Note Mt. Rainier in the distance. Click through for larger gallery image.

    The Goodlands

I am going to petition the National Park to change the name of the Badlands of South Dakota to be changed to the Goodlands instead. :) This is an area I have been visiting once or twice a year for the last few years, and it has always been good to me. :) It's always nice when the day starts...
