I could save some bucks by buying used, but decided to get new. Ordered from B&H today, it should come tomorrow. Expensive accident, but at least I’m upgrading.

I had a6000, a6300, I guess 6400 is a nice upgrade. Don’t need 6600, all my lenses have OS.

Glass is OK on lens, I wll bring in to B&H and see if anything can be salvaged.

I think a6400 is a good upgrade, better AF system. Shame I have to replace 18-135, but cheaper if I buy as a kit lens.

Scooter accident while camera on hip. :-( Don’t think either can be fixed (glass on lens OK but electronics broken). Sell for parts on eBay. Replace with a6400? Don’t need a6600? Other lens ideas, I have a bunch of Sony stabalized lenses already, but 18-135 was very useful. Ideas?

Thanks, Jim. I always try to find expression and emotion in street photos. It was difficult during Covid when faces were covered.

Thanks, David. The light is not natural; there were workmen working on the street down the block, huge lights with which I took advantage. Otherwise, completely dark.

I was fortunate to come upon this strange duo during a photo walk. It’s difficult to know what is going on, but ripe for metaphorical interpretation. What do you think he is holding in his left hand?

The chaotic nature of living here (I live 2 blocks from Times Square) is compensated by the rich subject matter for my street photography work. And, the diverse (cultural, economic, racial) nature of living in NYC makes many other places seem quite dull in comparison.

We can only guess…
