These are super cool. Love the way it's peeking out. And also great job with #2. Owls are not an easy bird to photograph, I always find them after the sun has set and is getting so dark.
I appreciate that Michael. I am guessing you have a lot of places in your back pocket as well, that when it comes close to sunset and you are driving that you then aim for that spot to try and get there by sunset.
Yep, early is best along the coast sometimes. I have learned not to wait for what is normally peak pink and red colors, but that if you get gold, capture it, because gold might be all there is.
Good one Alan.
Love these Sea stacks Ken! What a super beautiful place to camp near.
While the clouds aren't the best, you have pulled some detail out of them.
#1, 3 and 5 are my favorites.
I have probably captured the same one Larry! There are a couple of cool Junipers like this in the various rest stops along the I-70 in that area. I love to stop at them, not to rest, but to explore!
Driving from Colorado to California last week took me through the San Rafeal Reef in Utah about sunset. It was perfect timing I thought.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
