Here's a Carpenter bee pollinating the blueberry bush. He had pollen all over him that was reflected the light and took most of that out with generative fill. Was a single shot cropped in.
Spent the last few days trying to get a good macro shot of my eye. This one has a dark feel to it but it's my favorite so far. Used the healing/clone stanp to get rid of the light reflection. Manually took a sample from one area and rotated onto it. So far that's the best method I've found...
Picked up a cheap macro diffuser and a godox flash that is more compatible with my Sony. Before I was maxed out at 1\200s.
Got this piece of art from the weirdo market in Greenville, sc last year. The bottom right corner had some green take vegetation and I generated the bottom right flower...
Yesterday for Valentine’s Day, Nikki and I joined her parents for a trip to Cedar Falls Park in Fountain Inn South Carolina. When I left the house with my camera, I had no idea where we were headed and definitely hadn’t planned on shooting waterfalls. I didn’t have a tripod, and I don’t have...
Spent some time this weekend playing with the Sony a7r5. Bowser was happy to help as long as I had some treats for him.
There was part of a fence behind him that I removed. Also trying to figure out the best way to resize an image without loosing all the detail.
Only lost a little bit of the...
Finally received the Sony a7r5 camera body after it was delayed because of a winter storm. Haven't had much time to mess with it yet but got this capture of Penny this morning. So far I'm really liking the upgrade from the Sony a74. This is with the Sony 90mm macro as usual.
There was a cable...
Latest attempt at a portrait of Bowser. This is my favorite edit so far. I also decided to use my tax return on a Sony a7r5. Looking forward to using and sharing what I capture! I'm hoping with the higher resolution that my macro photos will improve some.
Penny and I were hanging out on the back porch looking for birds when she heard a stange noise and made the cutest face. Glad I had the camera ready to capture it.
Been trying to get the sharpest and most interesting angles of my cat's eye. Here's a few that I thought were the best. Still using the Sony A74 + Sony 90mm macro.
Compared to the previous year, 2025 was an amazing year for me. There was massive changes for the positive in my life. I also learned a lot more about photography, here's a few of my favorites.
1. Penny's Disney eyes.
2. Sharp lens.
3. Orb weaver.
4. Dew drops on a spider web.
5. Cat...
For me, nothing beats the colors of autumn and getting out into the woods this time of year. Will be heading up to North Carolina and the blue ridge Park way Saturday. But there's still a lot of beauty right in my back yard. Looking forward to sharing whatever it is I capture this coming weekend.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
