These are really cool looking cows. They are also known by the name "Belted Galloways". They are generally "pole grazed" for their lean meat. Image was recorded in East Albany, Vermont in the heart of "The Northeast Kingdom".

This little bad boy lives in the Verde River, Clarkdale, Arizona. Image was recorded with a Microscope at ~200x magnification. One drop of water was placed between slide plates and this little guy was swimming freely.

It is a little known fact that there are some wonderful dunes in Canyon De Chelly and easily accessed if you know where to look. A few weeks ago Fred Parsons posted an image of me "working" on the dunes. This is one of the images from that trip.....thanks for the good memory Fred!
