Or moonset if you want. I have had this one on the back burner since the trip in April. It has some interesting elements, but maybe mot so good a composition.

Ok, here is the same image with the moon detail enhanced. Turns out nothing was blown.



Per Sunny and Barry's request, the first foreground with the sky from the second. The darker moon of 2 does not work well alone in 1.

I like it - otherworldly.

Very cool Ben! Such a great contrast of colors and shapes. Ever since your trip out there it's been making me itching to get back there again, but it just hasn't worked out. So I get to enjoy it from here.

I do wish there was some more moon detail. I like the size of the moon, but if there is anyway to tease more detail out of it, I think it would really add to this shot.

Thanks Jim, I will look and see if I have a darker exposure. I doubt there is much detail in this version.

I like it. Not sure how much moon detail to expect in a capture like this one but will be interested in what you do with it.

I like the original with the moon from #2. Having never been there I'm always fascinated to see the shots from the area.

Beautiful Ben. It's such a great spot; there are so many unique features there to explore. Great job with each of the elements.
