Hey Kurt,

The dunes are so cool, especially when the ridges are lit like that. I think I would crop just a bit off the top to lose that last thin ridge of light.

Nice frosting on these dunes, love the detail and ripples.
At first I liked the distant highlight, but scrolling off the top did help with reinforce the strength of the comp.

Very nice. What lens did you use? I'd go crazy trying to shoot all the compositions I could find with that light if I was using a long zoom.

I agree with a lot of people here, Kurt that taking a bit more off of the top would make this more interesting. That last bright area tends to force your eye upward. Also, on my monitor the middle dune is a tad hot but I am guessing that is my issue because no one else has commented on that.

It's almost blown out. The red channel is right up there but not quite clipped so it may be your monitor.

It would be this lens:
AF-P NIKKOR
70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR

Product 20068

I just replaced my older version a few months ago and this new lens is far superior.
Way better bokeh, way better and silent AF.
