A Few from West Coast Oahu

This is up on the west coast, and I can't remember what beach, as we went to the dead end. The beach at the dead end was Yokohama Beach, and we got rained out so moved down the coast about a country block & this was where we landed. We were going to Makua Beach, but it was closed for construction. I loved loved this part of the island, as there were no people. But the group I was with didn't like it much. It is a very homeless side of the island with many homeless compounds & shacks. Still I would have preferred to be there every day and if I ever go back to Oahu that is where I will beach it.

There was so much more to do on the beaches here than sit. It was gorgeous, no people, plenty of tide pools, little blowholes, crabs etc. I absolutely loved it here.

YEAH! Darcy is back!!!! :)

I like all of these, #3 is the best. I think it looks pretty good, the only thing I would do is pull back the highlights very slightly in the water splash area to add more detail to it. Just a subtle recovery there.

#1 for me too (I like postcards!). I'm with you on avoiding the crowds - this area sounds great.

I too just got back from a week on Maui and wish I could have stayed longer. I was in the water everyday.
