This is the longest video I've done, shot in 4K and processed in Davinci.
Thanks for the feedback Jim. I hadn't watched it on my TV and the things that bothered me a little bit on my computer REALLY bothered me on the TV, so I've done a lot of brightness, contrast, and saturation adjustments. I also reduced the volume of everything.Awesome Kyle! It was fun to watch your video.
A couple of thoughts. Overall a really great video. I liked your transitions and how you started and ended with the people dancing.
A couple of nits.
1. It's too loud. I had to turn my volume almost down to zero to not to have it too loud. I do 2 things on mine. I set my audio on my editing computer to 50% and I have the editing program audio set to 50%. Then in the video when editing, I adjust the volume of the audio track to be a normal volume.
2. It was a bit too bright. Either turn down the exposure a hair, or use the Highlight adjustment to pull down the highlights slightly. I also would increase the saturation a bit. That does 2 things, it actually helps with the brightness, and then also people like to see colors brighter. Even if the colors were accurate, people like brighter colors. So for myself I will almost always bump up the saturation 10 to 20%.
Thanks a lot Trent. I keep trying to learn this whole video thing. It is definitely different than photos.Wonderful show Kyle. It really gives me a sense of your incredible journey.
