Shots from the mountain Strba lake in the High Tatras, Carpathian Mountains

I took the shots back in May, and I forgot about them.. hmm, May was nice - no heat!

Looks cool and refreshing with nice blue skies and no wildfire smoke. Has your area been impacted by heat/smoke this summer?

Thanks, Alan for the comment. I haven't followed the news about the fires, but the heat this year has been incredible and long... supposedly it will continue in the coming years. My wife and I are planning to move somewhere near the High Tatras during the heat, where the climate is more pleasant in the summer.. We'll see if it works out.

That's a really cool looking lake Peter! I like #2 the best.

And yeah, if you can move to someplace cooler, that would be great as it's no fun when it's too hot all the time.

The foreground rocks makes the composition in the second image stand out. The water also looks calm compared to the first.

Thanks for the kind comment, Jim. Yes, sitting at home when it's hot is not pleasant.

Thanks Jameel..yes, the first image is commercial, the second one, in the foreground with the rocks and calm water is more interesting.
