Witnessing Sunrise

Some get to work making photos, others are content to just observe. Zabriskie Point in Death Valley NP.

Almost a sparse crowd for that location. Once upon a time you could grab a spot in the elevated viewing area and have an unfettered view of the Beacon and the Zabriskie point hills but anymore that view nets you a seemingly endless view of photographer butts. Rare to see a viewer without a tripod there.

I like the golden hues when early light hits the hills.
