DNA in B&W

I am at a fun place for smaller kids called Lil Monsters. It's basically a huge ball pit. So here are a few of the balls that reminded me of a kids DNA chain. I thought it looked good in B&W.

In image 8 (primary, secondary and tertiary? colors) it is quite surprising how bad "CIE Y" is, compared to most of the others.

That's very interesting, thanks for the link. The way colors convert to grayscale can take you back a bit. It's probably why I always used an orange or yellow filter back with film.

Back with film, I wasn't really interested in Photography as a subject ... just took snaps with a Praktica MTL3 and got them developed at K-Mart. That changed when I started selling stuff on eBay and my wife's Kodak 643 wasn't really up to the job and I wanted to shoot better than the then blurry eBay norm. So I bought a used Nikon D50 and started learning from there.
