On the way to Toulumne Meadows

On a rainy day in Yosemite we headed over to Toulumne Meadows to potentially capture some fall colors. As we got closer to Tioga Pass, snow greeted us with signs that the hwy was going to be closed in a few hours. We saw a lake partially hidden from the hwy and stopped to grab some shots. We drove up to the meadows before turning back - not much color since most of the landscape was covered in snow.

The golden grasses on the edges of the lake still give off a nice fall vibe that works well with the dusting of snow.

That's cool you got up there. It is later in the season, so some snow isn't uncommon. I like what you shot here.
