Tràigh Losgantir (Luskentyre Beach)

Newly processed today. This beach is on the West Coast of Harris so next stop Canada. This may be too soft for many people but I like soft low contrast low saturation images. I am mimicking soft early morning light although this was taken 40 minutes before noon, 3 days before mid summer. Ken

The soft look works well for this scene.

What's the deepest point in the water before us in this scene? It almost looks like you could just walk across it with maybe knee deep at the worst.

You would get very wet as there is a river running through. This image taken from the far bank looking back shows the river with deep blue patches. Ken

That's quite the river running there Ken! Really amazing.

I like the soft look, it works with the colors desaturated as well.
