Rocky Creek Falls lies at the very southern tip of the Rocky Creek Scenic Overlook near the start of Otter Crest Loop road. There is a small pullout and viewpoint for these falls but it's directly above the falls and gives no useful view of the falls. Much easier to view and shoot out over the Pacific looking back which is how I got this view. Nasty lighting conditions with direct sunlight when I stopped by in early November leaving the falls in the shadows but nothing that couldn't be remedied in post processing.

The DR is challenging for this scene. Well tamed in post.

Hard to gauge the scale from the image. Given that it is a drone shot it looks smaller than it likely is.

Thanks Jameel - the DFR was too wide for LR/ACR but I was able to bring it down using DxO PhotoLab. I am guessing but the falls are maybe around 12-15' max.

Another image of Bride's Veil Falls from Skye. When I arrived the light was poor but I liked the image against the Trotternish Crags with The Old Man of Storr.

When showers flew through there would be a brief burst of light on the Old Man and a small rainbow. I waited while a few showers flew through hoping that the rainbow would make a complete arc above the falls but this was as good as it got. Ken

You got some pretty neat light in both of these Ken. I was loving the stormy looking skies in the first one but then scrolled down to see your sun breaks and the rainbow. Wow. That was a good day to be there.
