My falls today are from a visit to my favorite waterfall venue in the Oregon coast range last week: Sweet Creek. The falls in this image have no name but are part of a 2 mile stretch of the creek that runs over a stretch of exposed basalt and offer up some nice displays of falling water. We had a fair amount of rain to start off November so had some moderately high flows in the creek.

A recent trip to Borrowdale but the light was very flat so a short walk to Lodore Falls. Not so much a waterfall more a series of linked cascades and small falls tumbling for more than 100ft down a narrow gully. A thought about trying to get to some of the higher parts but this is ankle breaking territory. So having shot the easier to get to parts decided to call it quits and go off and visit other nearby falls (next week). Ken

I like the view in the first image of all the mini falls through the fall leaves. Definitely looks like some rough terrain to be clamoring about on for aging ankles. Nice series.

That 1st cascade is sweet. That & the foliage really make it.

This is a great series, Ken. It is hard for me to choose one over the others.
