Salvage Saturday 10/21/2023

Another Saturday is here and it's time to salvage an image you didn't like. Remember, you have a week to contribute to this thread. Find an image old or new that you want to improve.

After looking at this mage for a couple of weeks I decided it needed to be brighter in the foreground and mid-ground.

Here is the original processed image.



Here is the newly processed image. I brightened it up, used dehaze to give more definition to the sky, and shifted the color balance slightly to the yellow side.

I really like this redo Doug! All good choices!

Nice edits - that really brings a lot to the scene.

The foreground is a great improvement Doug. However I prefer the slightly bluer background of the former. For me it portrays distance, and therefore depth, in the image better. Ken

I worked one up. This is from a visit to a beach in the Samuel Boardman Corridor a few years back. Nasty sun angles for the subject but I shot anyway 'cuz that's what I do

I'll work on the background, Ken, and post it later.

I will start to take part in this section but I have approx 3,000 images taken over the last few weeks and am enjoying processing them. In the meantime I am enjoying the looking at the images posted here. Ken
