Exceptional image Kyle, good composition and beautiful colors. I love the cool blue and warm orange complementary colors—and a moon to top it off!
Great series Alan you’ve shared! My two favorites are the subtle colors captured in the images from Cape Horn and Owens Valley. Of course, the Vancouver sunrise is exceptional as well—a beautiful pano you’ve created. Interesting image from Horseshoe Bend—could you share the images from the closer viewpoints that you also captured? It would be interesting seeing those resulting landscapes.A sunrise from Vancouver:

The second image you’ve shared is my favorite, capturing the mist, reflection and the kayaker—nice composition. You’re pretty handy with a phone too!
Dan, great images you’ve shared—the last image is my first favorite with its subtle tonal gradations from near to far. My second favorite is the B&W landscape featuring the “fading” trees—well seen and captured.
Thanks John - the Horseshoe Bend shot came at the end of a day in 2010 that started out at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon with a strong storm front moving in. The winds were pretty much howling all the way up to Page and by the time I got up to Page I could see the leading edge of the front creeping over the cliffs west of the Bend. I ran out and grabbed some shots but the wind was blowing so hard I had trouble keeping my tripod from blowing over. I grabbed a few shots of the bend including this 3 shot panorama sequence I have never stitched until just now. I was staying in Page for a couple of nights and did come back later on with better weather to shoot the place again. The next day I visited the Antelope Canyons and the guides told me they shut down the slots when this storm rolled in because of the winds. No flash floods but sand was blowing everywhere inside of the slot canyons.Great series Alan you’ve shared! I’m going to hate the day you run out of ideas, John.View attachment 64376

Doug, beautiful images all! Especially a couple of them with snow––they look very inviting in our current August temperatures. Among my favorites are the Sedona and the second Grand Canyon images. But the Olympic National Park is a perfect image for this week's Task––good composition and color! Here are my contributions.
