Factory Butte Sunrise Fly By

I wish I had 4 hands, because if I had, I would have gotten the drone up flying sooner as it was a really sweet sunrise. But I was busy taking photos of the cool colors from my ground based camera. When it dawned on me, that this could look cool from the air, most of the color had faded from the clouds. But I think it still looked cool as the sun then poked it's head above the horizon.

Be sure to make sure you have 1080p selected in YouTube to play this. Somehow my YouTube settings had changed to Auto, so it was trying to play it at 360p which made for a pretty ugly looking video. So I don't know if I had messed it up somewhere or YouTube had, but I wanted to pass it on, that if the video doesn't play crisp and sharp, make sure you have it on 1080p.

And please Subscribe and Share my YouTube channel. It's stuck right below 400 Subscribers, help me get it growing again.

All comments are welcome,

Amazing how different flying in that terrain is compared to what I am used to in the forests and along the coast. Fun footage.

Love it Jim, the version I was watching on U-Tube had the top of the butte cut off. Looks like a bit of snow out there.

Thanks Ben, glad you liked it.

The top of the butte is in it, maybe your TV is playing it in a format where it's fitting it to the width of your TV? That would crop off the top and bottom.

I also watched it on my tv and the top had lots of space. It was my monitor that showed it that way.

Gotcha. This was filmed in a pano format, so maybe that's causing the issue on your monitor? At least it looks good on your TV.

Did anyone spot my 4Runner on the hill in the very beginning? It really sets the stage for the scale of just how huge that place is.

Yup. I already knew the scale however :)
Even though I knew the scale already too, for some reason seeing the 4Runner and as tiny as it was, made the ground seem even more massive. For me at least, seeing the truck and how teeny tiny it was compared to anything else was a kind of shock, and I have been to Factory Butte a hundred times.
