Tunnel View Sunrise

Had a nice sunrise at Tunnel View and I played with a few compositions as the morning progressed. Composing in the dark before sunrise is often a challenge before sunrise, and as things got brighter I saw one of the trees on the right poking into the scene. While I had taken some tight shots of El Cap and Half Dome, I also tried going wider to get the trees into the frame which is what you see here. This was at peak color in the sky.

Any thoughts are welcome, including whether I over processed (I may have...)

Kyle, I think this is a beautiful, classic view of tunnel view, love it.

Great job Kyle! Love that color in the sky, and I like the wider view. I think the processing looks good, I would play with decreasing the blue a little more in the area back by Half Dome, I know it doesn't take much to get that blue looking over saturated just from normal contrast adjustments.

Yeah, I feel like my efforts to keep contrast on the mountains pushed the saturation too high. I'll tone that down.

As popular as it is, getting this right is challenging. Always numerous variations of color temperature (causing blue mtns) and brightness levels. Often there is haze. Rarely has there been such a great sky. Nice imaging Kyle.
