Waterfall Wednesday 11/2/2022

Time for another round of falling water :)

My falls are from close to where I am right now out along the Oregon coast but from a visit here last fall when we had more water in the creek and better fall colors. These are a part of Ledge Falls on Sweet Creek.

That's a pretty high water flow rate for these falls Jameel. A lot of the moss and low vegetation in this scene has likely regenerated from the fire by now although the trees are either gone or blackened snags now. I have not seen any images from this place since the 2017 fire so no idea what it currently looks like.

Thanks for starting this Alan and a really nice starter.

I have posted this one before, but not in this thread. Taken this year at my favorite AF River location. I have one from last year with maybe twice the flow. But this years colors were better.

The water flow is kind of a Goldilocks level for this scene and especially given the wonderful fall colors. Very nice.
