Thursday’s Task

I have decided that abstract landscapes are images without context or with minimum context, I could be wrong. Given the amount of time that I spend around water most of the images have water in them. Ken

Ken, good choices for the task—I especially favor the “frozen water” and “sea swell” images.

Alan, nice variety of abstracts––the drone image of Coal Point is especially nice. The Latourell Falls image is my favorite.

I don't really think in abstracts. I try them sometimes, but generally don't end up liking them as much as what many of you produce (and have shared in this thread). In part, I'm not sure what the difference is between an "abstract" and an image of "details". So here are some details...

1) This was the first image I thought of for this challenge - details in the ice at Abraham Lake

2) Plenty of opportunities for details in Antelope Canyon

3) And swirls at the wave
