I am posting Thursday’s Task again this week because of Doug’s family emergency. I hope the task today will receive as many inspired responses as we saw last Thursday.

Thursday’s Task: Two focal lengths or two different viewpoints of same scene landscape (show both). My examples below:

Valley of Fire State Park, NV (November 2019)

Loch Eck in the West of Scotland. If anyone served in the US Navy on the Polaris fleet at Holy Loch in Scotland this location is less than 10miles away. Ken
Ken, thank you for your beautiful contributions––much better examples of today's Thursday's Task than mine!

I almost always shoot a beautiful scene at different focal lengths if I have a zoom attached (my walk around on my Sony is the 24-105). In this case the various lenses on my iPhone 13. I've already posted these, but my best recent examples of this task.

Jim, perfect use of your zoom for both beautiful images. I’m impressed with your iPhone 13—did you edit the shots on your phone or computer?

What a great task John! And I really like your examples. I will have to see what I have readily availble.

John, I shot those RAW and edited on the computer. The vertical is actually a two shot pano with the tele lens processed and stitched in ACR then converted to B&W in Silver FX

Thanks for the info, I’ve used Silver FX too. Again impressive iPhone shots!
