Nice side lighting on the salt polygons. This light also does a good job of illuminating the various levels the lake has seen on the distant slopes.

Thanks Dean. Here is my favorite for this morning, but it is spoiled by tire tracks.
Hey Dean, it sure does look like Badwater, that’s what drew me to visit there a couple of months ago. And I dare say it can look better then Badwater. It takes a little driving to find areas without tire tracks in them, but they are there. If you like Badwater, you will love Bonneville.
Great light to capture it in Ben. The tire tracks are not that difficult to deal with in the last image. Definitely worth working to eliminate this. I can see why that is your favorite one.

Hey Ben, my eyes might be getting old because I don't see any tire tracks in the first version of this image you added. (Maybe # them?)
Oh wait... finally I see them. They are subtle and didn't jump out at me. Great job on correcting them. For a timelapse, that would be a pain, but it works out for single images.

Thanks Jim it took a bit of work but I finally got it out I think the other track might be to the left and out of sight. I saw this after I took the picture and moved to the location in my first image but by then it was too late for that light so I waited for that mountain to be fully lit
