Very nice Douglas. Love them both, but maybe that first one with the cactus is my favorite.

You are getting a lot of rain this year - those look like substantial amounts of water for desert potholes. I love the reflections in both of these.
Nice puddle reflections Doug. The second one is my favorite of the two.

A agree, Monika. Unfortunately there was someone to my right that would not get out of the way for over one half hour so I decided to embarrass him by setting up right next to him.

Those are sweet, Douglas. I tried and I tried but I couldn’t squeeze any more moisture out of these clouds to fill up those puddles on that beautiful red rock. Eddie and I just walked out there again for an afternoon stroll, and hoping for some rain tonight but it doesn’t really look like it. Still quite beautiful here.

Maybe you should have put your tripod right underneath his, as I've seen others do..........?

I drove through a raging rainstorm to get home this afternoon. I had to pull over for a few moments. I was hoping it was moving in your direction. But when I reached home it wasn't raining hard here at all and my gauge only registered .16 inches.

That’s amazing Doug. I see that precipitation is pretty spotty around here, you can get some and your neighbor won’t. I’m hanging out at Bell rock trailhead today, waiting for you know what!

Very nice Doug - I've never managed to find that spot (although I didn't look super hard). I'll vote for the second with the bolder colors and full reflection.

I had a student on one of my field trips photograph between my legs.Maybe you should have put your tripod right underneath his, as I've seen others do..........?
