This is the desert area of Huntington Library, which is not in Huntington Beach as one might suspect but is by Pasadena.

Neat to catch the cacti in bloom here. I like the shapes of the collapsed cactus down in front.

This is more to raise a smile. The bottom of my garden yesterday. What do you do when your umbrella stand breaks and it is unseasonably hot? You take 7ft of plastic waste pipe and an extremely expensive Gitso tripod and bodge one. Ken
