Ptarmigan Trail + new edit

A stormy afternoon along the Ptarmigan Trail in Glacier National Park.

Edit - new version with suggested crop by Jim and a few less dust bunnies I found when making the edit.

Love that high country Alan, nice mood here.

The diffused light works well in the foreground and the clouds over the mountains. Lovely scene.

Crop a hair off the right side to lose that cut off trail Alan and I think this will be perfect. It’s certainly great scenery. Half of the park is off limits this year, so I probably won’t go up.

Looks better with the trail cropped off - good call. I was hoping for a return visit to Glacier this fall but as you mentioned the whole east side of the park is closed and the lines to get in near West Glacier are beyond abysmal.
