I liked this one from the Subway in Zion National Park. It’s a spot along the creek where the fall leaves were moving and swirling.

This is an archive shot that I converted to B&W today. I apologize for the size as it’s only 600pix high, but that’s how tall I made them back in the old days.

Very nice - do wish I could see it larger tho. Was it already B&W or did you convert it for this posting?

Thanks Mike. As I wrote this was converted from color to B&W just a day or two ago and it is the largest I have available as I am working off of old archives while my mom is in the skilled nursing facility. Unfortunately my mom requires constant watching and attention. When my Dad was sick I could take my laptop in and work on photos still, but my mom requires such constant attention due to her lack of memory, I never have more then 3 minutes between questions, issues and help she needs.

Nice work Jim.

Your mom is lucky to have a son like you, but I also suppose you were lucky to have her as a mom, which is how you became the man you are today. Caring for the elderly can be the true test of our character, nothing dramatic, just a long difficult path downward that we try to ease.
