This shot took screw ups over a couple of days. First I left a XQD card in the slacks I thru in the wash. This morning Vicki handed it to me explaining it went thru the wash and dryer. I loaded it into my camera and it popped right up. Went out to shoot a couple of test shots. The sunrise...

Smoke is down a lot , but exactly as you saw, it still lingers to some degree

Canadian smoke has been a major disruption to my sunset shooting, yesterday was an exception On top of the smoke I have been fighting mobility issues all summer. So I haven't had much to share. But the end is in sight hopefully. Hip replacement surgery scheduled at the end of the month...

Montello, WI First waterfalls for the year for me. These are also the closest falls to my house. Comes down to easy trip and no ice or snow (unlike the U.P.)
