    Classic Joshua Tree

Thanks Jim. I've always had good times in that park, even when the weather doesn't cooperate. Something special about the place for sure. Thanks Alan. The gold is in the foliage, not the hills! 😁

    Classic Joshua Tree

One of my favorite parks to visit in the cooler months. Can't beat the combination of yucca and boulders!

Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay

Thanks Jameel. The green rocks and pillars were begging to be photographed! Thanks Alan. This was the best light I had for three days in the area.

Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay

Watchin' the tide roll away. This dock has seen better days, but has an amazing lime color! Across the bay is Little James Island, off camera to the right (North) is Rialto Beach, Washington.

    Mt. Hood Moonrise

It's not often you can get an exposure with detail in both the moon and the earth. Well done!

    Oregon Coast Sampling

I love that last one - looks like it was taken at 35,000 feet!

    Leslie Gulch, SE Oregon

This is Panther Creek Falls in WA state. A nice place to spend an hour of your morning.

    Happy Hoodoos

Thanks Alan. These hoodoos look a lot like the ones at Goblin Valley, but to my eye these are a bit more angular in places, whereas Goblin Valley's seem more globular. Both are very photogenic !

    Happy Hoodoos

These Hoodoos were happy to have some nice direct light at sunrise and just enough clouds to be interesting. Near Bluff, Utah.

    Jagged Edge Mud Hills

Thanks Guys! The gold foliage/blue sky combo is definitely my favorite end point for the 590nm IR !

    Jagged Edge Mud Hills

While the shape of this area of peaks is reminiscent of the Eastern Sierra around Lone Pine, the rocks are considerably more crumbly. Badlands National Park with a 590nm converted Nikon.

    Trona Pinnacles Milky Way

That's a gorgeous MW arch! It never fails, whoever I think I have an area to myself, another photographer shows up and decides to shoot very close to me instead of finding his own shot! We humans are strange.

    Chasing Clouds

Thanks Jameel. This one does have a more ominous feel to it.
