Thanks Alan. These hoodoos look a lot like the ones at Goblin Valley, but to my eye these are a bit more angular in places, whereas Goblin Valley's seem more globular. Both are very photogenic !
While the shape of this area of peaks is reminiscent of the Eastern Sierra around Lone Pine, the rocks are considerably more crumbly. Badlands National Park with a 590nm converted Nikon.

It never fails, whoever I think I have an area to myself, another photographer shows up and decides to shoot very close to me instead of finding his own shot! We humans are strange.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
