Today's Winged Wednesday is a Sword-billed hummingbird photographed in Ecuador last month. I used a multi-flash set-up to capture the details and color of this large hummer. In the shade of the jungle he appears dark and colorless. Thanks for playing

A Black-capped Chickadee take at Barr Lake State Park. One of my favorite places to hike around in the winter. Hopefully the eagles will start showing up in bigger numbers soon.

He was even wearing some jewelry.
