I like the overlook view in the second one. The splashes of early fall leaf colors adds interest. Must be amazing with a full compliment of fall leaves.
Like that second one, I would prefer it with the OOF clump of grass in the foreground cropped out.

Yes, I told you this was an older image. Sorry about the soft foreground in the second image. Now, I would take a two shot image and focus stack to ensure the foreground is in good focus. I have not been able to get up here in the fall for the past couple of years. I will be in the area from October 15-22 and see if I get good conditions this time. I do have family obligations, but hope to have a few days of shooting....
