Anza Borrego Desert State Park Super Bloom, CA

I visited this state park Wednesday through Friday last week and the flowers were absolutely spectacular. Anyone wanting to go there should be there relatively soon because the flowers will start to decline from here on. Also don't go during the weekend because the place will be crawling with people.

The best place in the park is along Henderson Canyon Road where these images were taken.

Thanks, Alan. Actually, there were lots of people there. It looked a little bit like Oxbow Bend. I got the last two images because I was there at sunrise, and it was raining off and on. The first image was taken at sunset the day before and I walked out at least a mile to get rid of the people. Do not go during the weekend.

I figure with gas stops it's going to be a 20 hour drive for me from Colorado, but I am leaving first thing in the morning, hope to be there Wednesday afternoon to scout.
