What was the last photo you took this year? Well, or at least a photo taken on your last photo shoot of 2017.

Here is mine, I found myself on New Years Eve down in Laguna Beach just before sunset and went down to Thousand Step Beach to shoot.

So Post an image from your last day of shooting in 2017.

Like Ben, my last landscape outing was a Fall trip to the mountains to see color. While hiking I will sometimes use my wife's a6000 to keep from carrying so much weight and there are times I regret the decision, like this time. I thought this worked out well, considering my tripod was a tree that I had the camera pressed against .

Sony a6000, Sony E 4/PZ 10-105 G OSS at f/16, 1/6 sec, ISO 100, 18mm, hand held tightly to a tree.

It's still very cold in upstate NY; -16 today at noon.

I did get out at the watershed yesterday. One more stab at the red sumac, and one landscape.

Nice shot Jim, who let that interloper (seagull) in your shot, if it was my shot, I'd remove the feathered rodent.

Very nice Ben! I know you would have liked to have gotten out more but this is sure a great shot to have ended your landscape shots with. What's your plans/availability for 2018? When do you think you will be able to get back out and shoot some landscapes again?

Looking back at my files, the last time I've pulled the camera out was on November 17 and this was the last image shot that day of Oak Creek just north of Sedona.

This image was recorded along the Verde River in Clarkdale, Az. on November 10th. It is one of the few rivers in Arizona which flows continuously.
This was taken with a DJI quadcopter about 25 feet above the water

I already posted my last shot which was the waterfall image of Wet Beaver Creek. So this is my next to last shot at Zion National park which was a little too soon before sunset but here it is anyway. Better light would have made it much more dynamic.

Beautiful Darcy! Love the Bald Eagle shot especially. You ended the year photographically with a bang!

Where is this preserve? Is it hard to get to where you saw the Bald Eagles?
