Ben, great find of an old barn—I‘m supposing with an old camera! Love the warm colors.

Alan, interesting history with your first image—nice. Your drone capture of the farms along the Siuslaw River provides a unique view and nice landscape as well. My favorite is your final image of the Palouse—just perfect!I don't often capture active farms but I did find some images that fit here. For the oldest one I wish I had been able to stop and shoot some images during a visit to Egypt back in 1977 when I was with a team doing survey work in the rural area between Cairo and Ismailia. Everything was manual labor down to and including the family cow going in circles to drive a water wheel bringing water into their irrigation ditches. Sadly I was never in a position to stop and shoot but I did grab a drive by shot of a guy bringing his produce to the market on a wagon being pulled by a donkey. Image quality wasn't exception from a moving vehicle. This is near the outskirts of Cairo.

Thank you for your “in the meantime” image—a beautiful B&W landscape, love that sky! Look forward to seeing the red barn in the future.I finally found a red barn that I think will make a great foreground here in Kalispell, but I need some better weather (i.e. anything other than plain grey) to shoot it. In the meantime...

Ken, three beautiful landscapes you’ve shared—my favorite is perhaps your third image with such beautiful lights and shadows. Your first image has impeccable composition—good job.3 different types of farms.

Rick, you’ve captured a beautiful snowy landscape—the red details certainly enhance this image. I like the red, white and blue palette. The old farm houses, 2008 (When I was staying in Quebec for the looooonnnng winters lol)

Nice variety Jameel—beautiful warm light in your Vermont image. Your Palouse landscape is also well captured—love the colors. The Capitol Reef barn image is perhaps my favorite—I love this barn’s Southwest setting.Nice task and a nice variety of images. A few from me.

Doug, great farm scenes you’ve shared, I particularly like the New England farm with the old barn in the background with the Brussels sprouts foreground (who knew I would find Brussel sprouts a good thing). The Kansas barn and windmill is perhaps my favorite—nice composition. My wife, from Iowa, of course favors the John Deere tractor image. Here are my contribution to agricultural scenes.
