Wow - great images so far. My offering for today is far more humble fare. My shot came out of some afternoon wanderings in the Bisti/De-Na-Zin wilderness in New Mexico from a few years ago. The markings were a bit hard to discern but I believe it is a house finch based on the reds.

Another great set of winged images and seeing Bens beautiful image of a Canadian goose reminded me of an evening flight of Egyptian geese captured last year.
