My favorite local venue has to be the Columbia River Gorge:

Alan, beautiful scenes well captured and an excellent tour as well. And thank you for sharing each of them. I like Shepperd’s Dell—and I love the inclusion of the mossy bridge. Nice. The Thunder Island sunset image is gorgeous and a definite favorite. Fairy Falls is another favorite—I like the “tall falls” and a perfect capture too. It‘s nice that stormy weather can yield an interesting and beautiful image as in the Cape Horn image. I like the Rooster Rock SP capturing the colorful foreground contrasting with the “blues” beyond. Nice composition. Very nice. The Punchbowl Falls image’s beautiful composition is enhanced by the distant falls’ reflection doubling its effectiveness. Very nice. Again thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your local landscapes Jameel—you certainly lived in a picturesque area—hope your present area is as well. I’m glad you carried your camera as well as your golf clubs for the first image—love the reflection! The second image of the park in autumn is nice as well. Good one. I love the Snoqualmie Falls image. Very nice. Of course the Mt. Rainier image is perfect in every way—and a favorite. The last image is equally stunning and a favorite. Gorgeous colors captured—very nice.
