Thanks for another great task, John. Here are my contributions.

Lone Cypress along the Monterey coastline of CA.

A Lone White Pine on Chapel Rock is tethered to the shoreline by a root at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. During the fall and winter, it can be battered by twenty-foot waves from Lake Superior.

I love your two beautiful examples Doug! My favorite is the second image—I can’t believe the resilience of that “lone white pine” atop Chapel Rock—love the autumn colors.

Dan, quite a striking series you've shared––those busy beavers have created interesting artwork from their food source, with your artistic eye to capture them. Your second and fourth images are my favorites––well captured composites, especially your last image with its centered pathway. Nice!
