Skagsanden S-Curve

Here is an s-curve in the sky from Skagsanden beach in Lofoten. Up to this point the aurora had been a low arch in the sky. I zoomed in to fill the frame with more color and as I started taking photos I saw the aurora curve up into the sky as shown here. I didn't notice the purple fringing until I got this onto my computer.

As always, any thoughts are welcome including potential cropping ideas.

Now that's truly amazing Kyle! Love that S curve in the sky!

I really like how this looks as it is, but I do have an idea for a variation. Is this the full frame? My idea would be to crop just enough of the right side to remove the lit up mountain side on the right. That little lit up area doesn't distract to the degree that it would normally, because the aurora demands being the focal point, but it is a small part that in a normal photography we would crop out. If you look at the image and try not to see the aurora, I think we would crop off the right because of that bright spot. So maybe that applies here?

Doing that, also centers that wide green reflection. Now we most often avoid centering things in a photo, but I think it works here and actually then would break up the bottom part of the image into thirds.

I think you're right. This is the full uncropped image, in part because I was looking for thoughts like this. I'll play with your suggestion.
