A shot of the wave action on the basalt shelves at Cape Perpetua on an early January morning. A bit of a stormy day with some fairly frisky Pacific swells smothering the shoreline offered up some interesting photo opportunities.

Thanks Jim - this was one of those days where you keep one eye on your subject and the other out over the water watching for the next squall to roll in. I took this back when I still had my RV so I could scramble back up and get inside when a squall hit and watch the storm through the windows while looking at my shots on my laptop and then head back out once the rain stopped.
